At Monte Vista Christian School, we offer an incredible opportunity for students to learn to ride at school or join our show team and test their skills in competition.  

Students at the school may take Horsemanship instead of the traditional PE class, and ride five class periods per week for a very reasonable rate.   

At the Monte Vista Stables, you may board your own horse, lease one of ours, or take lessons on one of our fabulous school horses.  We offer lessons for beginner through advanced riders, and we are open to the public after school and on the weekends.   

Our Show Team meets for lessons after school and on the weekends to practice for competitions and sharpen their skills.  We have been competing with great results at the local shows and our Interscholastic Equestrian Association Team won the Regional Finals in 2009.  

Monte Vista is a Christ-centered environment where we teach more than riding skills.  Our students learn the value of teamwork and responsibility, and we have a great time working together toward the common goal of riding well and caring for the horses we love.
